Public Policy Manager EMEA & LATAM – Data for Good at Meta

Carlos Ahumada is Pubic Policy Manager for EMEA and LATAM in Data for Good at Meta, building partnerships between governments, civil society, academia and Meta to create positive social impact by leveraging the advantages of data and technology.

He is an experienced consultant/political advisor working on policy analysis and data science fields. He has professional and academic background in governance, private-public relationships, strategic communications, corporate affairs, data science (machine learning / natural language processing), and policy-making.

Carlos has a B.A. in International Relations with a focus on Economics from ITAM in Mexico City, Mexico, and Masters in Public Policy with a focus on quantitative methods and data science from the Hertie School in Berlin, Germany. Has worked as public affairs consultant and as an advisor in the legislative branch in Mexico, and as a data strategist for government agencies, private companies, and NGOs in Germany and Europe in a digital political communications agency.
