Karuna is currently the Head of Sustainability at Standard Charted Bank (SCB), India & Global Business Services. She is responsible for managing the Country Sustainability agenda for the Bank and the Global Business Services. She sits on the board of various impact organizations.

Under Karuna’s leadership, SCB is progressing rapidly in its journey towards being an inclusive organization by working towards affecting a real change through initiatives like ‘Seeing is Believing’ which is making 30 Railway stations across India accessible for people with disabilities by providing a host of facilities.

Before this role, she was the Business Head of Microfinance, at Standard Chartered.
