Pravesh Sharma, a former Indian Administrative Service officer has been engaged with the food and agriculture sector for over three decades at the highest policy and administrative leadership levels in the state, central government, and multilateral agencies.

He is widely credited with building the FPO movement in India, particularly building an ecosystem addressing the core needs of farmers for capital, technology, and markets. Mr. Sharma joined the Board of Samunnati’ Agro in May 2021 and was the founder-CEO of Kamatan, an agri-tech start-up building an inclusive supply chain by integrating farmers with markets.
