The state\u2019s young people have the potential to propel the economy forward. However, they face structural barriers shaped by geography, social, gender and economic factors \u2013 all of which will be released in a report during this session. Mitigation strategies will be discussed in the session that brings together stakeholders from government, industries, academia and young people themselves. He always had a dream of joining civil services since his childhood days and that is the reason why he opted for the civil services examination. He got selected in UP PCS and he gave 9 months to the state civil services of Uttar Pradesh. He worked in Raibareli, UP as Block development officer. In 2018, he joined as SDO in Chhapra, Bihar. Lokesh even did his training in Champaran, Bihar after he cleared UPSC.He has served as CEO-ZP, Koderma, SDO Ranchi before being appointed as Tribal Welfare Commissioner.
